Jeunesse Instantly Ageless Review | Is it the best under eye Argireline cream?

Overall score : 2.5

The miracle peptide Argireline in this cream, is referred by some anti-aging experts as ‘nature’s Botox’ or facelift in the bottle. Once this is applied, Argireline freezes the facial muscles and make the lines and wrinkles smoother. However, user reviews reveal that the “Instantly Ageless” vials are quite small, like most other miracle Botox creams products sold out there and they get used up fast and after application don’t last much longer. This actually makes the product expansive. Overall, it’s more of a quick fix rather than a long term solution. Besides, there are also some user reviews that claim the product doesn’t work at all. We recommend LifeCell over this.

The Bottom Line on Jeunesse Instantly Ageless

This might be a cheap and quick fix replacement for very expensive and harmful facial Botox injections to overcome the wrinkles and aged facial skin. Although the results are not permanent, it will eliminate wrinkles quickly but temporarily because of botox like properties of Argireline.

However, most of the consumers use this product only during special occasions concerning its price. Manufacturer of this product recommends that user may use their other skincare products.

The biggest problem with Instantly Ageless is that it does not contain the ingredients that will help build and rejuvenate the skin structure over extended period of use. It has a very one-dimensional effect.

We recommend LifeCell over Instantly Ageless. LifeCell has both a quick effect and with repeated applications, it provides long term anti-aging effect because of its collagen building and other anti-aging properties.

Refer to the sections :- Quick fixes vs. Long term solutions and Is LifeCell a better product?

There are quite many negative reviews of the product floating over the internet too.

Introduction

Jeunesse Instantly Ageless is a facial cream that is supposed to help you to gain younger appearance by erasing the under eye circles dramatically within a very short time period. Like 1 minute or so.

This product is marketed as an alternative to the Botox and shot to fame with some viral marketing.

Botox is an injection applied directly to the face that freezes muscles in the face. The wrinkles disappear as the injection does make them smooth.

Jeunesse’s Instantly Ageless, also does the same Botox like freezing effect few seconds after applying. It is sold through the Jeunesse website where you will find various other skincare products as well as product demonstration and details too. Interestingly, there is no customer feedback section or products’ FAQ section on their site.

Jeunesse Instantly Ageless facial cream is directly offered by the manufacturer for an amount of $74.95. This package contains 50 pc of 0.3 ml packets. It also provides 30-day money back guarantee. All the contact information is mentioned and they have been good enough to put some details about the medical team who developed the product.

Should you buy Instantly Ageless? Our take on instant wrinkle removers

To be honest, we are not a big fan of “argireline” based eye creams and the instant wrinkle removers. We also consider this product to be expansive as it’s not really helping build the skin structure over time with long term usage. So, all it does is a quick fix making you look good for 2 hours or so with a single application.

Our idea of the best wrinkle cream would be one that is both a quick fix and long term skin builder with repeated applications. That’s why we like the LifeCell cream. This is not simply an “argireline” based product and it has other collagen building ingredients, and it also uses light reflecting microcrystals.  Refer to the section Instantly Ageless vs. LifeCell.

About Argireline

Jeunesse Instantly Ageless cream contains the peptide Argireline to remove fine lines and wrinkles. Overall it can tighten your skin while firming it and lifting it but its effects are limited.

It also retracts the pore size and removes dark circles and bulgy portion under the eye.

The peptide Argireline, is referred by some anti-aging experts as ‘nature’s Botox’ or facelift in the bottle. Once this is applied, Argireline freezes the facial muscles and make the lines and wrinkles smoother.

According to some beauty and anti aging experts, on a debate on “Five Best products that contain Matrixyl 3000”, Argireline over time, with regular usage can actually make wrinkles worse, making the skin to sag more. This will indeed cause quick skin aging and thereby need to apply more and more of Argireline with subsequent use.

No long term safety studies have been done on the product yet.

Interestingly, user reviews reveal that the “Instantly Ageless” vials are quite small, like most other miracle Botox creams products sold out there. And they get used up fast and after application don’t last much longer.

Ladies may have to apply 3 or more vials per day to keep the effect consistent. So, it’s more of a quick fix rather than a long term solution. Besides, there are also some user reviews that claim the product doesn’t work at all.

Clinical Research on Argireline

Argireline has been subjected to clinical testing involving both living and inanimate organic test subjects, but it has not been subjected to any published double-blind trials (Rigorous scientific trials that are designed to exclude biased results from both the subjects and the researchers). That’s why some anti aging experts and Dermatologists recommend not using it.

Side Effects & Potential Dangers

Very few studies have been published regarding the potential side effects that can result from the skin’s interaction with Argireline. The handful of studies that have been conducted so far have not revealed any immediate dangers as a result of exposure to Argireline, so cosmetic companies are currently including it in products as an alternative to Botulinum toxins.

A potential danger that can result from exposure to Argireline,  is the possibility that it can induce sagging of facial muscles. By itself, Argireline indiscriminately affects any and all muscles that are exposed to it. When applied to face, however, Argireline has the potential to affect the firmness of facial muscles by suppressing neurotransmitters in those muscles, which can result in sagging facial muscles.

The problem with “Argireline” based products and the like is that they mess up with your “neurotransmitters” and send wrong signals to your “skin system” so much so that the production of those elements in skin which keep the skin together (and prevent it from sagging) diminish.

Because human body is quite intelligent, and if something is being supplemented from outside, it won’t produce it on its own.

That’s why Argireline should always be used with some collagen building supplements or systems.

According to the Neurotransmitters and the Skin Barrier (Experimental Dermatology)

It has been largely assumed that these chemicals and their receptors in the skin send messages on to the brain, but our recent research suggests instead that they function as a type of ‘brain within the skin’.

So, your hormones, neurotransmitters, peptides and your skin structure work together to create your youthful look. So, effective wrinkle creams that work as long term solution would be those that balance these chemicals in your skin. Read more about these long term solutions.

Argireline is also a peptide, however any consumer who is concerned with facial sagging should be careful when using products that contain Argireline until studies are published on the potential dangers that it may represent.

Other Ingredients in Instantly Ageless

Argireline, Sodium Silicate, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate

Other ingredients

Apart from Argireline Jeunesse Instantly Ageless formula contains, Sodium Silicate and Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, to deal with the skin’s elasticity.

Jeunesse Instantly Ageless is for those who expect temporary results quickly. User should not show any facial expressions for at least 2-3 minutes after the application of Jeunesse Instantly Ageless to assure that formula does work. You may use makeup as usual once the applied stuff is dry.

User review 1

I did apply the cream as per the directions and waited. After few minutes my wrinkles did not vanish as they said. It did not work as guaranteed.

Actually Instantly Ageless Jeunesse did not minimize my wrinkles at all. I couldn’t observe any change at all.

Is that a trap? It does not work as I expected. Are they expecting me to buy more and try if it works for me? The container also is a cheap looking cardboard box which I hate. On the other hand, the vials are extremely small. One may have to use few vials a day.

Although anybody can be misguided with the claims they made, this product does not work as it says.

User review 2

I bought 2 vials. NO! This doesn’t work. I tried every possible way, but ended up with nothing satisfied. I even contacted the distributor and they said the tough feeling on my face is absolutely normal. This product is not good at all.

Quick fixes vs. long term wrinkle treatments

As we all know aging is a natural process that we should expect to happen to all of us someday. Luckily there are several options to pick in terms of anti-wrinkle creams which will allow you to retain your youthful appearance.

To delay your aged appearance, as a smart consumer you must try to understand the mechanism of working of the best anti wrinkle creams and also realize that there are many fake products in the market. The wrinkle products broadly fall into two categories – Quick fixes and long term solutions.

Longterm systems try to improve collagen production or repair DNA. All these are clearly preferable so I’m constantly on the look out for products that actually erase your under eye wrinkles for good. Peptides, Amino acids, are the key here. Like Eyeseryl®, Matrixyl, Regu®-age, Human growth hormone, Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 (AH3) etc.

Peptides (eg. Matrixyl)

Essentially, Matrixyl is a peptide. Creams nowadays often boast about being packaged packed with peptides, but will not be particular concerning which peptide has been referred to. Matrixyl is palmitoyl-pentapeptide 3 , a peptide that stimulates skin repair and collagen synthesis. This means it qualifies as a long term aging system.

Although Matrixyl is increasingly becoming a common ingredient in anti wrinkle creams, modern research is bringing out new of these peptides like Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 (AH3) and Eyeseryl.

Cell-Communication Ingredients or Neurotransmitters

One of the powerful skin rejuvenation system is connected with the “endocrine” or hormonal system of the body. Whenever the body requires production of new cells, it sends messages to the brain and also to those parts of the body that require the healing. This is done via neurotransmiters and hormones.

By enhancing the endocrine profile of your skin, the skin can begin to create fitter, younger cells by conveying to your cells to avoid making awful cells and commence making better ones to it.

It’s an exciting area of skin care and anti-aging! The crucial players in this group are artificial peptides, HGH, retinol, niacinamide, lecithin, and adenosine triphosphate.

Skin-Identical Ingredients

Skin-identical ingredients mimic the specific construction of skin to avoid moisture loss and also make skin appear smooth.

From ceramides to sodium PCA, glycerin, fatty acids, polysaccharides, hyaluronic acid, lecithin, collagen, elastin, proteins, amino acids, cholesterol, glycosaminoglycans, and now artificially created (lab manufactured) peptides, there are a lot of these elements.

Retinoids eg. Retinol

Retinol has been shown to decrease the look of wrinkles and fine lines by fostering cell turnover in the skin. New skin cells additionally begin to include brand new, healthful collagen fibers.

Retinol is a derivative of vitamin A, which makes it a lighter variant of retinoids (a prescription- wrinkle combatant). While it takes several weeks to find effects, retinol is the best over the counter anti-aging ingredient in regards to “smoothing wrinkles, unclogging pores, lightening skin-deep brown spots, and enhancing the feel of the skin,” says Amy Wechsler, New York City dermatologist.

Retinol provides two advantages when contained in wrinkle cream: the edges of wrinkles soften, making the lines seem less full, and its own antioxidant property helps fight free radical damage.

Due to the potency of retinol, skin discomfort is not unusual, particularly in direct sun. Use retinol-established merchandises through the nighttime on dry skin and make sure to apply a moisturizer with SPF and to prevent susceptibility.

Vitamins

The very best products for fighting fine lines and wrinkles will make use of several ingredients, including vitamin C. Yes , even regular intake of simple vitamins can help you fight wrinkles without expensive or painful shots to aid the skin boost collagen production.

Besides the above mentioned compounds, a lot of scientific research is going on a number of other compounds that keep entering the market to treat wrinkles. However, the best results may take time. Remember that the most effective wrinkle cream is going to be one that gives you steady results over an extended time period, not one that works only overnight.

Is LifeCell a better product? Instantly Ageless vs LifeCell

LifeCell is an under eye cream that works on both levels – short term(as a quick fix) and the long term.

Its ingredients have been extensively studied and proven to work by respected medical departments at Yale, Harvard, Cornell, and Oxford. In addition to water-binding agents, antioxidants, and anti-irritants, LifeCell contains the following active ingredients:

  • Dithiolane-3-Pentanoic Acid
  • Ascorbyl Palmitate
  • Deanol (DMAE): Firms sagging skin
  • Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 (AH3): Blocks neurotransmitters that cause facial muscles to contract
  • Fractionated Silicon Dioxide: When processed, this ingredient turns into billions of microscopic 3D nanoprisms that refract light

1. Level one is the LifeCell “immediate effect”. Because the human eye can only just see the shadow, the ingredients in Lifecell use light-reflecting micro-technology to minimize the look of wrinkles immediately. In other words – natural light bounces off the wrinkles, thereby the shadow produced by the wrinkles is not visible, thereby cutting down the look of wrinkles.

2. And then comes the long term effect. By using LifeCell consistently you will see a considerable decrease of typical age indications -lines, sagging skin, and discoloration. This happens because over time, ingredients in LifeCell generate more collagen and help rebuild the skin structure.

With modern chemical engineering and technology, it’s possible to get the best of both the worlds – something that provides quick results as well as a longer approach to promote collagen production. In that sense, LifeCell happens to be a far superior option than instantly ageless and other argireline based quick fix creams.

The problems with cheap wrinkle creams

Products that are lesser priced will often have a smaller portion of anti aging ingredients, and older anti wrinkle formulas in the market do hydrate skin but are not able to increase collagen production effectively.

While more expansive creams that are based on newer technology like stem cells based products additionally supports new cell generation, which helps skin appear younger.

Another means to make sure that you are buying the most effective product would be to purchase one which includes peptides. These chains of amino acids replace collagen that is lost by sending chemical signals to the body and the brain that raises the protein production. However, remember that wrinkle creams that have these ingredients will likely cost you more.

HGH is also a peptide hormone that works great for anti aging. Read more about it.

Don’t be overwhelmed with the marketing

When it comes to wrinkles creams you will find each brand trying to capture your attention with mind boggling words and phrases.

Neutrogena promises “Fade the look of stubborn deep wrinkles, including crow’s feet, forehead & cheek wrinkles”.

L’oreal claims to “address 3 dimensions that visibly age skin: 1. Fight Wrinkles 2. Re-Firm Contours 3. Replenish Facial Volume”

Olay claims to “Reverses the look of up to 10 years of wrinkles”.

Roc “combines 3 powerful anti-wrinkle technologies to boost cell regeneration* and to reduce the appearance of even deep wrinkles”.

Clinique claims to “Help rebuild elasticity and firmness, helps visibly smooth out “laugh lines”.

The funny thing is NOT many wrinkle and under eye products out there have undergone strict clinical studies to gauge their effectiveness.

Even funnier is the fact that a majority of them are just moisturizers, even the well known BIGGER BRANDS.

Avoid any product that claims to “boost elastin growth,” as it’s just a marketing gimmicks and the human body is believed to stop elastin production just before puberty.

Now, many products advertised as wrinkle creams due to too little scientific evidence are not recommended by dermatologist and skin care specialists. Nevertheless, there are a number of proven wrinkle creams accessible now, and in the past couple of years there’s been major development in products that replenish collagen and skin structure effectively.

Don’t be influenced by big, popular Brands of wrinkle creams!

Are you ready for a surprise? Other than supplying ingredient advice, brand descriptions or names tells you about what you’re really purchasing. For most dermatologists, this really is old news.

In her skincare research Dr. Zoe D. Draelos, a consultant for Proctor & Gamble, declares,

Whether the merchandise is a facial cream, an anti-aging night cream, a sunblock, a topical antioxidant, or a skin-lightening serum, the formula is essentially a moisturizer.

The reality is, there’s no built-in dissimilarity between product labeled as a moisturizer versus one labeled anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, anti gravity, lifting or another category you have seen.

Based on Dr. Draelos’ released research, “The better part of the [skin care] merchandises are moisturizers with added ingredients to support advertising claims.”

To be able to provide any advantage to skin–regardless of whether these products are in creme, lotion, serum, or possibly a liquid formula, and whatever the claim or product name–all moisturizers should work to furnish the skin with proven ingredients which may help skin fight signs of aging.

So, beware of marketing claims, alluring brand names that will squander your money.

  1. I got samples of Instantly Ageless. I am 63
with several under eye puffy areas. This product did work but has several negatives for me. It didn’t last 5 hours. When it died
it felt like dried glue to me. I have gotten the glue from press on nails on me and this is how it felt. It also left an odd residue. Did not
use makeup over it. Maybe that would help.
It is a really microfiber, Sandrine residue.
I won’ t buy anymore of this product.

  2. I’m wondering if this product isn’t like a product made by, “Sudden Change?” It comes in a tiny little bottle, which I’ve tried it, that after I tried and it dried, it was grainy like sugar and if I made a lot of facial expression, it crumbled and the wrinkles were back. I really don’t think there is ANYTHING out there that can take bags under your eyes away. It is ALL a gimmick and poppycock!
